Facebook Game

About the project

During my internship at DTT, I had the responsibility of creating a Facebook app for HHNK as a crucial element of their awareness campaign. The HHNK Clean Water game engaged players in quick decision-making, challenging them to determine which items could be safely flushed down the toilet and which should be avoided. Drawing inspiration from the popular game Fruit Ninja, players had to skillfully slice through items to prevent them from entering the toilet.

My contributions

In my contribution to the HHNK Clean Water game, I was responsible for creating the game from scratch. This involved developing the gameplay functionality and designing the majority, if not all, of the UI screens. Additionally, I implemented a feature that allowed players to share their accumulated points after each session. Another crucial aspect of my role was integrating a leaderboard, where scores retrieved from an API were displayed on a designated UI screen.

Final thoughts

Working on the HHNK game was a significant milestone for me as it marked my first experience in developing a mobile app. At the time, my proficiency in JavaScript was limited, but this project provided an excellent opportunity for me to enhance my skills in this language. Additionally, creating UI screens for a company was a completely new experience for me, and it proved to be an invaluable educational journey. I am grateful for the learning and growth I achieved through my work on the HHNK game.
