About
War Simulation is a team deathmatch minigame plugin designed for Minecraft. The plugin is developed in a way that when the server starts, it is open for players to join.
As a player, when you join, you enter a lobby and wait for other players. Once enough players are present on the server, the game begins with a countdown, and the players are divided into two teams.
The objective of the game is for your team to stay alive. Players from the opposing team can eliminate you, and once you are eliminated, you cannot continue playing. However, you can still spectate your teammates during the remainder of the match.
Update game selector
The Game Selector is updated through sockets that contain information about the different game servers. The Hub server hosts a ServerSocket that waits for a new socket to arrive with information. Once this information is received, the Game Selector is updated accordingly based on the information.
(This is a schematic example illustrating the approximate functioning of the system.)
